The Sport

Nothing clears stress, resets your focus and centres the mind like the sport of Archery. At Ouse Valley Archery we are passionate about generating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where everybody can enjoy the sport, the company, and leave the range feeling calmer and more relaxed than when they arrived.

Coaching

OVA welcomes archers of all skill levels, whether you have been shooting for many years, have shot in the past and are returning to the sport, or are just setting out on your archery journey, we have the people to welcome you and assist.

The Knowledge

There is always more to learn or information to refresh and our resources are there to help old and new archers alike with hints and tips on technique, bow setup and tuning, archery equipment or just basic “what does that mean”

Whether you want to shoot like a Pro or are just starting out, our coaching team are here to help.

Beginners Courses

If you are new to the sport then rest assured OVA can get you started. OVA runs frequent courses for beginners and with it’s inventory of club bows, arrows and targets, can provide you with the equipment you will need to get shooting. It has a fully accredited coaching staff and there are always other club members on hand to help out. And remember you’re never too young or too old to start.

Returning Archers

As we all know Life happens, and as much as we’d all love to, sometimes people just can’t continue to shoot. However we frequently welcome archers back to the sport, some of whom may not have shot for 35+ years. If you are one of these people and wish to try the sport again, then we would be very happy to hear from you. Please contact us via email and we will be happy to discuss the best way forward for you.
